Vaughan Baio & Partners “has bolstered its employment practice in New Jersey” is how Law360 described the firm’s recent addition of four new partners in their New Brunswick, N.J. office — Peter P. Perla Jr., Joseph P. Horan II, Susie B. Burns and Cindy Ringel.
According to Perla, the public health crisis spurred an expected uptick in litigation and counseling work, and the full array of practice areas and resources Vaughan Baio offered made the move particularly attractive. Perla and his team have been busy helping clients interpret the flurry of new laws that resulted from the pandemic, as well as handle claims and questions about things such as workplace accommodations.
“We didn’t just make the move for ourselves, we made the move for our clients,” Perla told Law360.
Joseph E. Vaughan, who founded the firm with Madeline S. Baio, said plans are underway to expand the firm’s presence throughout the mid-Atlantic region over the next 18 months.
