Biography
John T. Imbornoni focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing clients in a range of general liability matters in both the public and private sector, with the goal of minimizing each client’s business risk and potential exposure. John brings particular experience working with insurance companies, third-party administrators, the New York Liquidation Bureau, and in the gig economy on matters involving personal injury, property damage and premises liability.
John has experience representing defendants across New York State. He strives to resolve matters as efficiently as possible, based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case, either through substantive or procedural dismissals or via a favorable settlement.
While earning his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, John was awarded the Pro Bono Service Project for the many hours dedicated to the school’s Consumer Justice for the Elderly: Litigation Clinic, where he provided counsel and advocacy for senior citizens in matters involving foreclosures and consumer debt. Now with a young family, John has retired his hobby of skydiving and is rediscovering his love of chess.
